Don Hamnett, P.E.- Principal

In 1989 Don helped co-found HHPC with John Harrison.  He graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.  Don brings 50 plus years of structural engineering design experience to the firm.  He was raised by an architect father who tried to talk him into becoming a pharmacist, but like all good sons, went another way.  When you have lasted 50+ years in the business, there is really no need to describe what you can do...you have done it all.  Don's specialty is design, quality control and construction administration, knowing most contractors in the state.

Don lives with his wife Barbara and has three adult children who gave him and his wife nine grandchildren.  If Don is not in the office, he is most likely at the Jersey Shore.
